Here’s a flavorful Hibachi Steak Meal you can make at home 🥩🍚—just like the restaurant, but simple.

Hibachi Steak Meal

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

Steak

  • 1–1½ lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced

Hibachi Vegetables

  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt & pepper

Hibachi Fried Rice

  • 2 cups cooked rice (cold works best)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1–2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

Optional sauces

  • Yum Yum sauce or teriyaki sauce

Instructions

1. Cook the steak

  • Heat a large skillet or griddle over high heat.
  • Add butter and steak pieces.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Sear 2–3 minutes until browned.
  • Add garlic and soy sauce, toss quickly, then remove from heat.

2. Cook the vegetables

  • In the same pan, add oil.
  • Sauté zucchini, onion, and mushrooms until tender-crisp and lightly charred.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

3. Make fried rice

  • Push veggies aside or use another pan.
  • Melt butter, scramble eggs.
  • Add rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Stir-fry until heated through.

Serve

  • Plate steak with fried rice and vegetables.
  • Drizzle with Yum Yum or teriyaki sauce if desired.

Tips

  • High heat is key for that hibachi flavor.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—cook steak in batches if needed.
  • Add shrimp or chicken for a mixed hibachi combo.

If you want, I can also give you a homemade Yum Yum sauce recipe or a hibachi chicken version to go with this meal.
