Peanut pecan candy

Posted on January 6, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a classic Peanut Pecan Candy recipe 🍬🥜—sweet, nutty, and crunchy, perfect for a treat or gift.

Peanut Pecan Candy

Ingredients (Makes about 20–25 pieces)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup peanuts (roasted, unsalted)
  • 1 cup pecans (halves or chopped)

Instructions

1. Prepare

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Lightly butter the surface or spray with cooking spray.

2. Make the candy base

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and heavy cream.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 240–245°F (soft-ball stage) on a candy thermometer (~8–10 minutes).

3. Add flavor

  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.

4. Add nuts

  • Quickly stir in peanuts and pecans until evenly coated.

5. Shape candy

  • Drop spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Let cool completely until firm.

6. Serve

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Tips

  • For extra crunch, lightly toast the nuts before adding.
  • Work quickly once the candy reaches temperature—it sets fast.
  • You can drizzle with chocolate for a fun twist.

If you want, I can also give a simpler stovetop peanut pecan brittle version that’s quicker and extra crunchy.

Do you want me to share that?
