π₯π Hamburger Potato Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- Salt & pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4β5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced (or frozen hash browns)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
- Β½ cup milk
- 1Β½β2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: green beans, corn, or peas
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9Γ13 casserole dish.
- Brown beef with onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drain fat.
- In a bowl, mix soup + milk until smooth.
- Layer it up
- Potatoes
- Beef
- Soup mixture
- Cheese
Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake 60 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 10β15 more minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Rest 10 minutes before serving.
Tips for Success
- Slice potatoes thin so they cook through
- For extra flavor: add Worcestershire or a splash of beef broth
