Instructions
- Cook the beef
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef.
- Drain excess grease.
- Add veggies
- Stir in onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
- Cook 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Make it sloppy
- Add ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire, mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Simmer
- Reduce heat to low and simmer 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and saucy.
- Serve
- Spoon onto toasted hamburger buns.
