🧀 Savory Cheese Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
    (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • Optional: chopped chives or green onions

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Whisk wet ingredients separately (egg, milk, butter).
  3. Combine wet + dry just until mixed (don’t overmix).
  4. Fold in cheese (and chives if using).
  5. Heat lightly oiled skillet over medium heat.
  6. Pour small pancakes (¼ cup batter).
  7. Cook 2–3 min until bubbles form, flip, cook until golden.
