Ohhh yes 🍫✨ Chocolate Salami—that no-bake, sliceable chocolate dessert that looks like salami but tastes like pure chocolate heaven. Super easy and perfect for gifting or dessert platters.

🍫 Chocolate Salami (No-Bake)

Ingredients (1 log)

  • 7 oz (200 g) dark or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar or powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed plain biscuits or tea cookies
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, or walnuts)
  • Optional add-ins: marshmallows, dried fruit, or a splash of rum/coffee liqueur

For coating

  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

1️⃣ Melt base

  • Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat or in the microwave (stir until smooth).
  • Remove from heat, stir in sugar and vanilla.

2️⃣ Mix fillings

  • Fold in crushed biscuits, nuts, and any optional add-ins.
  • Mixture should be thick and slightly sticky.

3️⃣ Shape

  • Spoon mixture onto parchment or plastic wrap.
  • Roll into a log shape, twist ends tightly.

4️⃣ Chill

  • Refrigerate 2–3 hours (or freeze 45 min) until firm.

5️⃣ Finish

  • Unwrap and roll in powdered sugar to look like salami.
  • Slice and serve.

Pro Tips

  • Texture balance: don’t over-crush biscuits—you want chunks.
  • Clean slices: wipe knife between cuts.
  • Flavor boost: espresso powder or orange zest is 🔥 in this.
