Croissant, Scrambled Eggs & Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 croissant (sliced in half)
  • 2–3 eggs
  • Cheese (American, cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)
  • Butter
  • Salt (and pepper if you like)

How to make it

  1. Scramble the eggs
    • Beat eggs with a pinch of salt.
    • Cook low and slow in butter, stirring gently until soft and fluffy.
  2. Toast the croissant
    • Lightly toast or warm it in a pan or oven so it’s crisp outside and soft inside.
  3. Add cheese
    • Place cheese on the hot eggs so it melts (or melt it directly on the croissant).
  4. Assemble
    • Croissant bottom → eggs → cheese → croissant top.

Easy upgrades

  • Add ham, bacon, or sausage
  • A little hot sauce or ketchup
  • Sprinkle of chives or everything bagel seasoning
