Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1½–2 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ΒΎ cup beef broth
  • β…“ cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½–1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp cold water

Instructions

  1. Add to slow cooker
    Place beef, peppers, onion, and garlic in the crock.
  2. Make sauce
    Whisk broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire, ginger, and black pepper. Pour over beef.
  3. Cook
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Until beef is tender.
  4. Thicken
    Stir in cornstarch slurry during the last 20–30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Serve
    Over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
