Here’s the classic 7-Up Biscuits recipe — super soft, fluffy, and made with just a few ingredients 🥐


7-Up Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup 7-Up (or any lemon-lime soda)
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Mix dough: In a bowl, stir flour, sour cream, and 7-Up until just combined. Dough will be sticky.
  3. Knead lightly: Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently knead 4–5 times.
  4. Cut biscuits: Pat dough to about ½-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter or glass.
  5. Butter pan: Pour half the melted butter into a baking dish. Place biscuits in the dish, then pour remaining butter over the tops.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.

Tips

  • Don’t twist the biscuit cutter — it helps them rise higher
  • For crispier sides, space biscuits apart; for soft sides, place them close together
  • Serve warm with butter, honey, or jam
