Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for baking or frying)

Buffalo Sauce

  • ½ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar (optional for sweetness)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

Prepare Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  2. Pat wings dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake method: Toss wings with oil, spread on a baking sheet, and bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
    Or fry method: Deep-fry wings at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Make Buffalo Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Stir in hot sauce, honey (if using), and garlic powder. Mix until smooth.

Toss Wings

  1. Place cooked wings in a large bowl and pour sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.

Serve

  1. Serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing.

Tips & Variations

  • Spicy variation: Add cayenne pepper to the sauce
  • Mild version: Reduce hot sauce or add more butter
  • Air fryer option: Cook wings at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway
