Here’s a tasty recipe for Teriyaki Chicken Wings — sticky, sweet, and savory 🍗✨

Teriyaki Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Teriyaki Sauce

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat your air fryer.
  2. Pat wings dry, toss with oil, salt, and pepper.

2. Bake or Air Fry

  • Oven: Spread wings on a baking sheet and bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Air Fryer: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway.

3. Make the Teriyaki Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Optional: Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into sauce to thicken.

4. Toss Wings in Sauce

  1. Place cooked wings in a large bowl.
  2. Pour teriyaki sauce over wings and toss to coat evenly.

5. Serve

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot.

Tips

  • For extra sticky wings, broil for 2–3 minutes after tossing in sauce.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Pair with rice, steamed veggies, or a simple salad for a full meal.

If you want, I can also give a slow cooker teriyaki chicken wings version that’s extra tender and flavorful.
