Here’s a super-easy Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy that basically cooks itself.
Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy
Ingredients
- 2–3 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth (or water)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 tsp poultry seasoning or onion powder
Instructions
- Place chicken in the bottom of the crock pot.
- In a bowl, whisk together gravy packets, cream of chicken soup, broth, and seasonings.
- Pour mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 6–7 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
- Shred or leave whole—your call. Stir to coat everything in that gravy goodness.
Serve it over
- Mashed potatoes 🥔
- Rice 🍚
- Egg noodles
- Or with biscuits on the side (elite move)
Easy upgrades (if you’re feeling fancy)
- Add sliced mushrooms or onions at the start
- Stir in a splash of heavy cream or sour cream at the end
- Toss in frozen peas during the last 20 minutes
