Black Cherry Jello Salad
Ingredients
- 1 box (3 oz) black cherry Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
- Optional: ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
- Dissolve Jell-O
In a large bowl, stir black cherry Jell-O into boiling water until fully dissolved. - Add fruit
Stir in crushed pineapple (juice and all) and cherry pie filling. - Chill slightly
Refrigerate 20ā30 minutes, until thickened but not set. - Fold in creamy stuff
Gently fold in marshmallows, Cool Whip, and nuts if using. - Chill to set
Refrigerate at least 2 hours (overnight is even better).
