Here’s a simple, classic way to make Red Potatoes — tender, buttery, and full of flavor 🥔✨


Buttery Red Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lb red potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or minced garlic
  • Optional: fresh parsley or dill

Instructions

  1. Prep potatoes
    • Wash potatoes and cut into halves or quarters (leave skins on).
  2. Boil
    • Place potatoes in a pot of salted water.
    • Bring to a boil, then simmer 15–20 minutes until fork-tender.
    • Drain well.
  3. Season
    • Return potatoes to the pot.
    • Add butter, salt, pepper, and garlic.
    • Gently toss until coated.
  4. Serve
    • Sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired. Serve hot.

Optional Variations

  • Garlic herb: add rosemary or thyme
  • Cheesy: sprinkle with Parmesan
