Crock pot chicken thighs

Easy, cozy, and basically impossible to mess up 🙌
Crock pot chicken thighs are a win every time.

Here are a few solid, low-effort options—pick your vibe:


🍗 Classic Slow-Cooker Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • Bone-in or boneless chicken thighs
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
  • Paprika or Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Optional: sliced onion

How

  1. Season thighs generously.
  2. Add broth + onions to crock pot.
  3. Nestle chicken in.
  4. Cook LOW 6–7 hrs or HIGH 3–4 hrs.

👉 Finish under the broiler 5 min if you want crispy skin.


🍯 Honey Garlic Thighs

Sauce

  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp ginger (optional)

Cook same times as above. Thicken sauce at the end if you want it sticky.


🌮 Salsa Chicken Thighs

  • Thighs + taco seasoning
  • 1–2 cups salsa

Cook, shred, and use for:

  • Tacos
  • Rice bowls
  • Quesadillas

🥔 Creamy Chicken & Potatoes

  • Thighs
  • Baby potatoes
  • Ranch seasoning or Italian dressing mix
  • ½ cup cream or cream of chicken soup

Dump, cook, done.


Pro tips

  • Thighs don’t dry out—go low and slow.
  • If skin-on, place skin side up.
  • Don’t add too much liquid; thighs release their own.
