Here’s a tasty, restaurant-style Fried Rice with Chicken, Steak, and Shrimp — hearty, flavorful, and easy to make at home 🍤🥩🍗🍚

Chicken, Steak & Shrimp Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice (preferably day-old cooked rice)
  • ½ lb chicken breast, diced
  • ½ lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), diced
  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2–3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2–3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook the Proteins

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook diced chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook steak cubes 2–3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook the Vegetables and Eggs

  1. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and cook 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Push veggies to the side and pour in beaten eggs. Scramble until just set, then mix with the vegetables.

3. Combine with Rice and Protein

  1. Add chilled rice to the skillet. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes, breaking up any clumps.
  2. Return chicken, steak, and shrimp to the skillet. Mix thoroughly.

4. Season

  1. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

5. Serve

  • Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.

Tips

  • Day-old rice or chilled rice works best to avoid mushiness.
  • Cook proteins separately to maintain flavor and texture.
  • Customize with veggies like bell peppers, snow peas, or broccoli.
  • For extra flavor, add a splash of sesame seeds or sriracha when serving.

I can also give you a quick one-pan version where everything cooks together for faster cleanup if you want.
