Cranberry orange bread

Here’s a moist Cranberry Orange Bread 🍊🍞
Sweet, tangy, and perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Cranberry Orange Bread

Time: ~1 hour
Makes: 1 loaf

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • ½ cup fresh or dried cranberries (chopped if large)
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • ⅓ cup milk or yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prep
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Dry ingredients
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and orange zest.
  3. Wet ingredients
    Whisk orange juice, milk, egg, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Combine
    Stir wet into dry just until mixed. Fold in cranberries.
  5. Bake
    Pour into pan. Bake 45–55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool
    Let cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan.

Optional Orange Glaze

Mix ½ cup powdered sugar + 1–2 tbsp orange juice. Drizzle over cooled bread.

Tips

  • Toss cranberries in a little flour so they don’t sink.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon.
