Broiled Lobster Tails in Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce 🦞🧈

A restaurant-quality seafood dish that’s rich, buttery, and perfect for special occasions.

🧂 Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 lobster tails (8–10 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika or smoked paprika (optional, for color)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

🔥 Instructions

  1. Prep lobster tails:
    • Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell lengthwise to expose the meat.
    • Gently lift the meat slightly out of the shell so it rests on top.
  2. Make garlic butter sauce:
    • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add minced garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
    • Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Broil lobster:
    • Preheat oven broiler to high (around 500°F / 260°C).
    • Place lobster tails on a broiler pan, meat side up.
    • Brush generously with garlic butter and sprinkle with paprika.
    • Broil 8–12 minutes, depending on size, until meat is opaque and slightly golden (internal temperature ~140°F / 60°C).
  4. Serve:
    • Drizzle remaining garlic butter sauce over lobster.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley.

🍴 Serving Tips

  • Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or roasted potatoes.
  • Add a slice of lemon on the side for extra freshness.
  • Pair with a crisp white wine, like Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay.

💡 Chef’s Tip: Watch the lobster carefully while broiling — it cooks quickly, and overcooking makes it rubbery.

If you want, I can also give a garlic butter skillet version that cooks lobster tails entirely on the stovetop for a faster alternative.
