Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes: ~24 cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven
350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment. - Cream butter & sugars
Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. - Mix dry ingredients
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. - Combine
Stir dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips. - Bake
Scoop dough (1–2 tbsp) onto sheet.
Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden. - Cool
Let rest 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
Tips
- Chill dough 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
- Underbake slightly for extra chewy centers.
- Sprinkle a little sea salt on top before baking for bakery-style cookies.
