Here’s a delicious Crispy Garlic Mushroom Bites recipe 🍄🧄 — crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Crispy Garlic Mushroom Bites

Serves: 3–4
Time: ~25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 12–16 button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and halved
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Oil for frying

Garlic Butter Toss (optional but great)

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prep mushrooms
    Pat mushrooms dry well (important for crispiness).
  2. Set up dredging station
    • Bowl 1: flour + salt & pepper
    • Bowl 2: beaten eggs
    • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika
  3. Coat mushrooms
    Dip mushrooms in flour → egg → breadcrumbs. Press gently to coat.
  4. Fry
    Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
    Fry mushrooms in batches 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Garlic butter toss (optional)
    Melt butter, sauté garlic 30 seconds, toss fried mushrooms with butter and parsley.
  6. Serve
    Serve hot with ranch, garlic aioli, or spicy mayo.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra crispy: Double-dip in egg and breadcrumbs.
  • Air fryer option: Spray with oil and air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Cheesy crust: Mix grated Parmesan into breadcrumbs.
  • Spicy kick: Add cayenne or chili flakes to breadcrumbs.
