Brownie muffins

Here’s a delicious Brownie Muffins recipe 🍫🧁 — rich, fudgy, and perfect for a quick treat or snack.


Brownie Muffins

Makes: 12 muffins
Time: ~25–30 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease well.
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    In a bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Mix dry ingredients
    In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Combine
    Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
    Stir in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Fill muffin cups
    Spoon batter into muffin cups, about ¾ full.
  6. Bake
    Bake 15–18 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean (a few crumbs are okay — fudgy is good!).
  7. Cool & serve
    Let muffins cool 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.

Tips & Variations

  • Fudgy: Slightly underbake for extra gooey centers.
  • Nutty: Add chopped walnuts or pecans.
  • Cheesecake swirl: Drop spoonfuls of sweetened cream cheese into batter and swirl with a toothpick.
  • Microwave version: Make a single “mug muffin” in 90 seconds for a quick chocolate fix.
