Posted on January 5, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a bold, flavorful Steak & Shrimp Jerk Pasta 🌶️🍤🥩
It’s creamy, spicy, and perfect for a special dinner.

Steak and Shrimp Jerk Pasta

Ingredients (Serves 4)

Protein

  • 8 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thin
  • 8 oz raw shrimp, peeled & deveined

Seasoning

  • 1½ tbsp jerk seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper (light—jerk seasoning already has salt)

Pasta & Sauce

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine work best)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Optional: sliced bell peppers or onions
  • Optional garnish: parsley or green onions

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta
    • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
    • Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season protein
    • Toss steak and shrimp separately with jerk seasoning and olive oil.
  3. Cook steak
    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear steak slices 2–3 minutes per side.
    • Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook shrimp
    • In the same pan, cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
    • Remove and set aside.
  5. Make sauce
    • Lower heat to medium.
    • Add butter and garlic; cook 30 seconds.
    • Stir in cream and chicken broth.
    • Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thick.
    • Add parmesan and stir until smooth.
  6. Combine
    • Add pasta, steak, shrimp, and optional veggies.
    • Toss gently. Add pasta water if needed for looseness.
  7. Serve
    • Garnish and serve hot.

Tips

  • If jerk seasoning is spicy, balance with extra cream
  • Don’t overcook shrimp—they get rubbery fast
  • Add a squeeze of lime at the end for Caribbean flavor
