Here’s a simple and delicious way to make a juicy pork chop 🥩

Pan-Seared Pork Chops

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika or smoked paprika (optional)
  • Optional: fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Prep pork chops
    • Pat chops dry with paper towels.
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat pan
    • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook pork chops
    • Add chops to the pan.
    • Sear 4–5 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  4. Rest
    • Let pork chops rest 3–5 minutes before serving to retain juices.

Tips

  • For extra flavor, add minced garlic or sliced onions while cooking.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a simple salad.
  • For a crispy crust, coat chops lightly in flour before searing.

If you want, I can also give a baked version or a smothered pork chop with gravy recipe that’s perfect for comfort food.

Do you want me to share that version?
