Barbecued Country-Style Ribs are meaty, tender cuts (usually from the pork shoulder) that cook up juicy and flavorful—perfect for oven, grill, or slow cooking 🍖🔥

🍖 Barbecued Country-Style Ribs Recipe

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1–1.5 kg country-style pork ribs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Optional: brown sugar, chili flakes

👩‍🍳 Instructions (Oven Method – super tender)

1. Season the ribs

  • Pat ribs dry
  • Rub with oil
  • Mix spices and coat ribs evenly

2. Bake low & slow

  • Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F)
  • Place ribs in a baking dish and cover with foil
  • Bake for 2–2.5 hours until very tender

3. Add BBQ glaze

  • Remove foil
  • Brush generously with BBQ sauce

4. Finish (caramelize)

  • Increase heat to 200°C (400°F)
  • Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes
  • Or broil for a sticky, slightly charred finish

🔥 Grill Option

  • After baking, finish ribs on a hot grill for smoky flavor
  • Turn and baste with BBQ sauce

🌟 Variations

  • Honey BBQ: add honey to sauce
  • Spicy: mix in chili sauce or cayenne
  • Garlic butter: brush with garlic butter before serving
  • Smoky: add liquid smoke to marinade

💡 Tips

  • Low temperature = super tender ribs
  • Don’t skip resting for 5–10 minutes before serving
  • Use a meat thermometer (aim ~85–90°C internal for fall-apart texture)

If you want, I can give you a slow cooker version, air fryer method, or a homemade BBQ sauce recipe 👍
