Here’s a Cheesesteak-Stuffed Garlic Bread Loaf recipe 🥖🧀🥩 — perfect for a hearty, shareable meal.

Cheesesteak-Stuffed Garlic Bread Loaf

Servings: 4–6
Time: ~40–45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette or Italian bread loaf
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz (225 g) thinly sliced steak (ribeye, sirloin, or deli-style)
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1–2 cups shredded cheese (provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar)
  • 3 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Optional: parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Set oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook steak and veggies:
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft (3–4 min).
    • Add steak, season with salt & pepper, and cook until just browned. Remove from heat.
  3. Prepare garlic bread:
    • Slice the top off the loaf lengthwise. Hollow out some of the bread to create a cavity.
    • Mix softened butter with minced garlic and spread inside the loaf.
  4. Stuff the loaf:
    • Layer steak and veggies inside.
    • Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake:
    • Place stuffed loaf on a baking sheet.
    • Bake 15–20 minutes until cheese melts and bread is crispy on edges.
  6. Serve:
Slice into thick pieces and garnish with parsley. Serve warm.

Tips & Variations

  • Use provolone for a classic Philly cheesesteak flavor.
  • Add mushrooms or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • Wrap in foil for softer bread, or bake uncovered for a crispier crust.

I can also give you a faster, skillet-only version that doesn’t require baking if you want a quicker meal.

Do you want me to do that?
