Here’s an easy, flavorful Chicken Wings recipe — crispy on the outside, juicy inside 🍗🔥


Crispy Chicken Wings (Oven or Air Fryer)

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lb chicken wings (drumettes & flats)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (not baking soda)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

Oven Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat wings very dry with paper towels.
  3. Toss wings with baking powder and seasonings.
  4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack.
  5. Bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Air Fryer Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Toss wings with baking powder and seasonings.
  3. Cook 18–22 minutes, shaking halfway, until crispy and cooked through.

Optional Sauces (Toss After Cooking)

Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce

Honey Garlic

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Lemon Pepper

  • Melted butter + lemon pepper seasoning

Tips

  • Baking powder is the key to crispy skin without frying.
  • Always dry wings thoroughly before seasoning.
  • Sauce wings after cooking so they stay crispy.
