Homemade Chocolate Bar

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate (milk, dark, or semi-sweet), chopped or chips
  • Optional mix-ins:
    • Nuts (almonds, peanuts, cashews)
    • Dried fruit (raisins, cranberries)
    • Crispy rice cereal, coconut flakes, or cookie pieces
    • Sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate
    • Use a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.
  2. Prepare mold
    • Line a small loaf pan, silicone mold, or baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. Add mix-ins
    • Stir any optional ingredients into the melted chocolate.
  4. Pour and smooth
    • Pour chocolate into the prepared mold and spread evenly.
  5. Set
    • Refrigerate 1–2 hours or until firm.
  6. Serve
    • Remove from mold, slice into bars, and enjoy!

Tips

  • For a shiny finish, temper chocolate if you’re comfortable with it.
