Chocolate chip cookies

Here’s a classic Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe 🍪🍫
Soft, chewy centers with golden edges.


Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes: ~24 cookies
Time: ~30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Cream butter & sugars
    Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix dry ingredients
    Combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine
    Stir dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
    Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Bake
    Scoop dough (1–2 tbsp) onto sheet.
    Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  6. Cool
    Let rest 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

Tips

  • Chill dough 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
  • Underbake slightly for extra chewy centers.
  • Sprinkle a little sea salt on top before baking for bakery-style cookies.
