Here’s a classic Deviled Egg recipe 🥚 — creamy, tangy, and perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Deviled Eggs

Servings: 6 (12 halves)
Time: ~20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard)
  • ½ tsp white vinegar or lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Optional Add-ins

  • Finely chopped pickles or relish
  • Chopped chives or parsley
  • Hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne for spice

Instructions

  1. Cook eggs
    • Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water.
    • Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit 10–12 minutes.
    • Cool in ice water and peel.
  2. Prepare filling
    • Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks.
    • Mash yolks in a bowl.
    • Mix in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar/lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Fill eggs
    • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. Garnish & serve
    • Sprinkle with paprika, chives, or parsley. Serve chilled.

Tips & Variations

  • Creamier filling: Add a little cream cheese or sour cream.
  • Flavored deviled eggs: Mix in avocado, bacon bits, or smoked salmon.
  • Fancy presentation: Use a piping bag with a star tip for elegant swirls.

I can also give you a guacamole or spicy deviled egg version for a fun twist.
