Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)

  • 1–2 tablespoons butter, softened

  • Cooked bacon
  • Caramelized onions

Instructions

  1. Prep the bread
    • Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Assemble
    • Place cheese slices between the unbuttered sides of the bread (buttered sides face out).

  3. Cook
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
    • Place sandwich in the skillet and cook 2–4 minutes until golden brown.
