Here’s a hearty, flavor-packed combo: Barbecued Beef Ribs and Meatballs 🍖🍡
Perfect for a family dinner or cookout.

Barbecued Beef Ribs and Meatballs

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

For the beef ribs:

  • 2–3 lbs beef ribs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)

For the meatballs:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: 2 tbsp chopped parsley or onion
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

Beef Ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season ribs with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Cover & bake
    • Place ribs on a baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake 2–2.5 hours until tender.
  4. Add BBQ sauce
    • Brush ribs with barbecue sauce and bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes until caramelized.

Meatballs

  1. Mix meatballs
    • Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and optional herbs.
    • Form into 1–2 inch balls.
  2. Bake or pan-fry
    • Bake: 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes until cooked through.
    • Or pan-fry in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked.
  3. Toss in BBQ sauce
    • Coat meatballs with barbecue sauce and simmer 5 minutes to absorb flavor.

Serve

  • Arrange ribs and meatballs on a platter.
  • Serve with sides like coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread, or roasted vegetables.

Tips

  • For extra smoky flavor, use a smoked paprika or add a dash of liquid smoke.
  • Meatballs can be made ahead and reheated in BBQ sauce.
  • Brush ribs with extra BBQ sauce during serving for sticky goodness.

If you want, I can also give a slow-cooker version where both ribs and meatballs cook together and soak up all the BBQ flavor—super easy for weeknights.

Do you want me to share that?
