What It Is

A baked casserole made with egg noodles, cooked chicken, creamy sauce, and vegetables, often topped with cheese or crispy breadcrumbs.

Typical Ingredients

  • Cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • Egg noodles
  • Cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • Milk or sour cream
  • Frozen peas and carrots (or mixed vegetables)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

Basic Preparation

  1. Cook egg noodles until just tender.
