Combine ricotta, egg, mozzarella, Parmesan, and parsley. - Assemble
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in a 9×13 dish
- Layer noodles
- Ricotta mixture

- Repeat (usually 3 layers)
- Finish with sauce + mozzarella on top
- Bake
Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 15–20 minutes until bubbly. - Rest
Let sit 15 minutes before slicing (trust me).
Make-it-better tips
- Mix beef + sausage for big flavor
- Add spinach or mushrooms to the sauce
- For extra richness, add a thin layer of béchamel or a splash of cream to the ricotta
