“Lazy Man’s” Peach Pie Cobbler
Ingredients
- 1 stick (½ cup) butter
- 1 cup self-rising flour

- 1 cup milk
- 1 can (29 oz) sliced peaches, undrained

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter
- Place butter in a 9×13 baking dish.
- Put dish in oven until butter melts.
- Mix batter
- In a bowl, stir flour, sugar, milk, and optional spices.
- Do not overmix—lumps are okay.
- Assemble
- Pour batter evenly over melted butter (do not stir).
- Spoon peaches with juice evenly over the batter (do not stir).
- Bake
