Ingredients (makes about 6 cups)

  • 1 (10 oz) bag oyster crackers
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven
  • Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a large bowl, combine oyster crackers and oil/butter.
  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning (and optional garlic/onion powder) over the crackers.
  • Toss well until all crackers are evenly coated.

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika.
  • You can also make them in the microwave: spread crackers on a plate, toss with oil and seasoning, and heat in 1–2 minute intervals, stirring in between, until crispy.
