Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Sausage and Cheese Crescent Squares — perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a snack.

🥐 Sausage and Cheese Crescent Squares

Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz breakfast sausage (or any ground sausage)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: chopped green onions or bell peppers

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish.

2️⃣ Cook the Sausage

  • In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until fully browned.
  • Drain excess grease and let it cool slightly.

3️⃣ Prepare Egg Mixture

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

4️⃣ Assemble Crescent Squares

  1. Unroll crescent dough and press into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams.
  2. Spread cooked sausage evenly over the dough.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese (and optional vegetables) on top.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the filling.

5️⃣ Bake

  • Bake 25–30 minutes or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  • Let cool 5 minutes before slicing into squares.

💡 Tips

  • Use your favorite cheese blend for extra flavor.
  • Add hot sauce or spices to the egg mixture for a kick.
  • Serve warm with salsa, ketchup, or sour cream.

If you want, I can also give a make-ahead version where you assemble the squares the night before and bake in the morning for a quick breakfast.
